This is authentic Thai bronzeware, sadly a very rare craft now. These bowls were used by everyone from the Thai King to Thai monks (the later as alms bowls) many years ago, now the monks use plastic and the aging artisans are down to only a few in number with virtually everything they make contracted to the wealthy Thai upper classes. We only managed to get these items because the artisans did an exhibition and no-one except us bothered to ask what they were going to do with the bowls after! So this is a rare oportunity for something really special and beautiful for your living room. This is for a 2 part set with a base (1.08 Kg 25.2 cm diameter) and bowl (1.7 Kg).

I offer lay away (where you ask me to keep an item for you for a while so you can bid on and win other items from me and benefit from combined shipping). Layway requires you to pay 33% now, the balance (plus shipping costs) when you are ready for me to send it. However, my maximum lay away time is 2 months; if you do not pay the balance by then, I have the right to resell the item(s) and keep your deposit!
